Panasonic Lumix LX3 - Point & Shoot camera (PnS)

There is no regrets for getting this PnS camera, is light in weight & easy to hold and use.

It is not only a "family" camera and it also can used it as personal hobby on shooting macro photography with simple setup (A lens adapter, a setup ring & a Raynox202) use only with the built-in-flash and you can just bring along with you to works to anywhere since is small and what is need is to just put in your bag!
You can see below how my setup for the LX3.

Oriental Whip Snake

19Dec10, a trip to Malaysia Kota Tinggi for macro shooting with usual kakis! Although not a fruity trip, but have chance to shoot my first snake shot!

Oriental Whip Snake:-
The green vine snake, also known as the Oriental whip snake,
is native to South America, Asia and India. It is a semi-venomous snake,
which can reach about 2 meters in length.
While it is known as an avid hunter that kills its prey by injecting toxins with the rear fangs, it is usually not harmful to man.

Eyes colour changes (变色的眼睛)

Shots some pictures of this cute little spider, noticed that the 2 big eyes (middle front eyes)keep changing colour and this is because the spider eyes is focusing on different area.
拍摄了几张同一只小蜘蛛的照片，注意到它前面中间的俩只大眼睛一直不停的变换颜色原因是它的眼睛一直在对焦着。

Been busy for what? I dont know...5 days working, OT.... Sat and Sun morning to half a day is always my priority for macro shooting. But, today I woke up early morning and dont feel quite well so didnt go out for any shooting >.<

24/7 & 25/7 2010 went to Pulau Ubin macro shooting (乌敏岛过夜影微距)

First time went for a macro shooting at a small Island (Pulau Ubin) outside of Singapore. 2D1N stay was fun！ Me 1 female + 7 males :P, poor thing for the guys, need to spare one bedroom for only me to sleep. Haha~
And also...lots of "mosquito"!!!!

这是我第一次在新加坡的一个小岛(乌敏岛)上拍微距摄影,俩天一夜的安排很好~ 我一个女子+7个男仔 :P。委屈男仔们要牺牲一间房比我一个人睡~ 哈哈！
岛上住民少....但蚊子超多！！！ 吓死人！

迟先，我会放上一些在那拍的相~ ^ . ^

Night macro shooting is interesting! But very tired. Shooting started from 8pm and ended at 12am. I came for the shooting right after my work (applied 2 hours time-off just to leave office early) focusing light is very difficult to handle and control....I dont have "Third" hand to hold torchlight and shine on the subject...must think of a way how to hold my focusing light.....

Overall, the experience for shooting night macro is very nice! A search light (for you to search for insects & for you to shine on path way to walk) and a focusing light (to shine on the subject to shoot) is a MUST @ Lower Perice! That place is very very dark, without search light, forcusing light you cant go anywhere.

夜间微距摄影非常好玩！但是也非常累哦...我们从晚上8pm 开始一直至凌晨12am多才走出那漆黑又伸手不见五指的地方，每个人就只靠一，俩个手电筒来照明路线。 夜间摄影最重要的是要怎么用一个手电筒来照明所要拍摄的昆虫(可以称为对焦灯)和一个手电筒来寻找昆虫和照明行走的地方。在夜间行走是要很谨慎的，安全第一！ 在下一次的夜间微距拍摄时，我得先想下怎么把对焦灯绑在相机上或用别的方法...(我可没有第三只手哦)

YES!! Night macro outing! This Friday will be my first night macro outing and I may have chance to shoot some "night-insects" which only come out during the night~ hahaha~ Hope I can have some good shots then. ^.^
